Tragedy Strikes a Family in Scotland as Young Daughter Becomes an ISIS Bride

Aqsa Mahmood was safe in Scotland. Muzaffar, her father, moved his family from Pakistan to Glasgow back in the 1970s, and has been living the way many immigrants only dream of. His family lives in an affluent neighborhood, and he had the money to send his four children to the prestigious private school of Craigholme.In the Latest World News One of the Reporter said that Aqsa was a bright child who loved her family, but she disappeared in November of 2013 to make the trip from Glasgow, Scotland back to Syria to join ISIS in their cause.Her family was shocked and devastated. As Muslims themselves, they despise ISIS and their radical cause, and now they have even more reason to hate the radical Islamic group. In November of 2013, Aqsa is reported to have said goodbye to her entire family before leaving for the day. They didn’t see or hear from her until four days later when she called them as she crossed the border from Turkey into Syria.

Maqsood Khan, the young man who entered the tiger enclosure, was then snatched by a white tiger which dragged him off by his neck into a corner. The tiger then mauled him to death. Local television networks are reported to have played a video recorded by a cell phone. Photos also reveal Khan cowering in the moat with his hands pressed together as if in prayer.Witnesses to the attack reported similar events occurring as shown in the video, but many also complained of the slow response from zoo security. Rather than attempting to rescue Khan from the white tiger, zoo security is reported to have attempted to shoo away the crowds that had gathered.

UN Mulls Emergency Mission to Iraq to Investigate ISIS ‘War Crimes’

The UN is currently considering an investigative mission to Iraq to delve into the facts surrounding accounts of war crimes in Iraq committed by the radical Islamic militant group, ISIS.  The human rights council of the UN held a ‘special session’ over alleged rights abuses and violations of humanitarian law by Islamic militants. Diplomats from the 47  member countries which comprise the UN are set to construct a draft resolution “strongly condemning the the alleged systematic violations and abuses of human rights ” resulting from the acts of  terrorism committed by ISIS and associated groups.The crimes against humanity include mass murder, torture, amputations, enforced disappearance, forcible displacement, and training children in military camps.

There are accusations that the organization is systematically engaged in mass killings, particularly based on ethnic and religious minorities.The militants, who spawned from Syria, have launched major offensives inside Iraq and have seized Sunni swathes of land, declaring the areas a caliphate in the region. ISIS poses an immediate threat to Iraq and is becoming more of threat internationally due to a number of it’s members coming from elsewhere to fight in the jihad.  The investigators would be required to give an update to the human rights council at the regular session, commencing next week. Israeli airstrikes disrupted a brief lull in fighting on the Gaza strip after a twelve hour ceasefire formatted by Egypt under the directive of the UN, after the Security Council called for  “an immediate ceasefire”. According to Israel’s chief military spoke person, the ceasefire is conditional and reasoned as an “unlimited truce — The IDF is free to attack after any fire if there is any”.Hamas accordingly stated that it wanted a 24 hour truce to mark the Muslim holiday of Ed-al Fitr, which commenced Monday. Shortly thereafter, the fighting temporarily relinquished; however, diplomatic tensions remained high as Israel continued to stake out a vast network of Hamas tunnels that are supplying the Palestinian war effort.
